Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") form an agreement between you and Beijing Tianlian Ruihe Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "Service Provider") regarding your use of Smart Scanner (the "App").

1. Nature of the Service

All-in-one document and image scanning and processing tool

The App provides software features as described in the App and its current documentation. Features and availability may vary by device, operating system, region, and version. The App does not guarantee any particular outcome unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

2. Your Content and Responsibilities

• Your content: You retain any rights you have in content you provide to or manage with the App. You must have the right to use that content.
• Device and account security: You are responsible for keeping your device and any connected accounts secure.
• Permissions: Some features may require device permissions. You can change them in device settings, but a feature may no longer function without the necessary access.

3. Acceptable Use

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Do not access or modify another person's information without authorization.
• Do not interfere with the App, bypass its security controls, introduce malicious code, or use it to violate another person's rights.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from the App except where applicable law permits.

4. Intellectual Property

The App and its software, designs, text, graphics, trademarks, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Beijing Tianlian Ruihe Technology Co., Ltd.. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

5. Third-Party Services and Costs

The App may use third-party services identified in its Privacy Policy. Their own terms and policies govern their services. We do not control third-party content, websites, network services, or device platforms. Your network provider may charge for data use. Any optional purchase terms, if applicable, should be disclosed separately at the point of purchase and governed by the relevant platform rules.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beijing Tianlian Ruihe Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates, employees, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Updates and Modification of Service

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features to address security, legal, compatibility, or operational needs. Updates may be provided through the platform from which you obtained the App. Some changes may affect existing features.

9. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The revised version will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date, and we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them.

11. Governing Law and Local Rights

These Terms are subject to applicable law and any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Nothing in these Terms waives rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
